COORDINATES - TOPIC LINK
This week, we are learning to read and write coordinates. This is a life skill. You need it for map reading, whether it's to find your way to a new place, or want to be an explorer - knowing about coordinates will help you.
Once you've learnt to use them, you are going to create your own map of a zoo, to link with our animal kingdom topic. You will need to create a grid, plot the features in the zoo and then list the attractions with their coordinates.

TELLING THE TIME
This week, we are going to be developing our skills in telling the time. We will be working with analogue time (clock faces) and digital time.
This is a life skill and one you really need to master. There are activities on your group blog pages, but really you can have a go anywhere there is a clock. In school, at home, out shopping.
This video clip will help you, if you are finding telling the time challenging. You can watch it as many times as you need to.

NUMBER PAIRS TO 100
This week, we are going to be working on our number pair knowledge. We will start working with multiples of 5, to 100 and then progress on. It is important that you make good use of your number pairs to 10, to support your learning.
